My thoughts are that from the beginning, dogs have been around to help their masters: whether to help them catch food, kill mice, help in times of war, or just to keep them company.
Cows, pigs, etc., have ALWAYS been around to be eaten and plow and work.
Dogs are created to be companion animals. Cattle are created to be working and food animals. That's the way it's always been. |
