I just made an appointment to have Toby neutered. I was quoted the following prices (I almost flipped) $210 canadian for neutering, $60 dollars extra for laser(optional) and $120.00 for the pre-anthesic bloodwork. Just wondering if all this stuff is necessary. I have phoned other vets in my area and they are about $60.00 cheaper for just the regular surgery. One vet told me he wouldn't recommend the bloodwork unless he was an older dog. I have been going to my vet for about 16 years. I do feel somewhat loyal, but I don't know.????
