I third all those comments! That was a really great event. Marilyn and her volunteers must have worked so hard to make it as beautiful as it was - kudos to all of you. I thought it was especially nice when the volunteers recognized Marilyn and Don.
To the YT ladies I met yesterday, it was so nice to meet you and see your babies, and I can't wait to do it again! Poor Gus was so pooped, he slept almost all the way home, but he was having a good time, too.
It was hard listening to some of the horror stories about Marilyn's rescues, but it was nice seeing how beautiful and well taken care of those babies are now. I hope that SAY raised a lot of money yesterday; they deserve it! |
