Recently we went to my mother in law's house for a birthday party. My mother in law has a sheep dog named Cloe, we have been numerous times with Preston. In the past we have always kept Preston on his leash and by our side to prevent accidents or escapes from the house. He seems to be doing much better with going to other peoples houses without having accidents, and we made sure everyone knew he was loose and to watch out if they opened the door. For the first time Cloe and Preston interacted without anyone being right there with them. Preston devised a way to still be able to give Cloe kisses even though she is so much bigger. He would jump up onto the footstool so he could be closer to eye level. LOL I snapped a couple pics to share.
