This was one of the first questions I asked my wonderful vet when I became a new puppy owner!

His answer was - as often as he needs. Should he get dirty, give him a bath! There are loads of extra moisturizing products (I like products with shea butter and soothing oatmeal) on the market if you end up becoming a frequent bather, like me. (2-3 times a week)

an added benefit of bathing often is that you keep killing live fleas, should any hop on and become very familiar with your poochies anatomy so you notice if anything changes or is odd.

Having 'wipes' available is great for dirty paws and faces or those days when you just dont have the energy to bathe and blow dry. Blow drying is important b/c wet fur can cause yeasty, itching skin. So make sure your baby is ALL the way dry!! (A really famous groomer told me that)
