Here is my schedule with him....
4AM, take Rocco out to potty then right back in crate
7AM, go out for a walk/run - gets his energy out
7:30AM, feed Rocco then put him outside while I get ready for work
8:30AM, put him in laundry room while I am at work
5:30PM, come home and take him right outside to potty
Then we have playtime and just hang out until it is time to go to bed
9:30PM, bedtime - he gets put in the crate
It took me a LONG time to get a schedule together that works for both of us. Hope this helps! |
Yeah tell me about schedules. lol...
This is how mine goes.
6:45am, get up take chanel straight outside. She will pee and sometimes poo.
then back into bed room to sleep. No crate
8:00am, wake up again, get her food, put food and water in kennel and go take a shower. (about 15 minutes or so)
8:15am, take food tray away, get dressed, walk her outside. For about 10-15 minutes. Either she does her business or not. Goes back inside in room.
8:30am I leave for work and she stays in room with toys and crate open.
5:30pm, get home take her outside, she pees and poops.
then run around with her for a bit. And been leash training her (homework from puppy training class) for 15 minutes too.
5:50pm or so, take her back in give her water and food in my room. Leave it out again for 15 minutes. then take away.
6:20 or so, eat dinner, after dinner take her out. She runs around pees and if she has to poo she will too. Then bring her back inside room. Then for about 15 minutes a day, i try to train her doing the exercises they gave us at class.
7:45pm, bring tray again to get water. wait around 30 minutes
8:15pm, walk her again. And let her do her thing.
Then its hang around time, keeping a close eye on her if she is running around the house. If not she goes back in the room with me.
I try to put her in crate for a while. And when she starts to cry, i leave the room, let her calm down and then take her out. Then do it again and see if she stays in there longer.
but my crate training has been going slow. Since like i said, i work from 9-5. But i am going to start to put her in crate at nights to sleep to see how that goes. And if she doesnt bother, well she will be in the crate all night. But we will see how it goes.
Thanks for your post.
