At one year, when a puppy reaches adulthood, is usually when the aggressive behavior starts in puppies from puppy mill type situations.
As Tae1107 suggested, a bile acid test to check for a liver shunt is a good idea. Dogs can have normal liver values on a routine CBC and still have high bile acids. Since Yorkies are 36 times more likely to have a shunt than all other breeds combined and you say she didn't come from a reputable breeder, a shunt is a real possibility. |
I was thinking this too . The puppy just did not have any human contact and had not bee properly socialized. It could also signal a health problem, so it is very important to take her to the vet, and get her tested.
If I were in your shoes I would not have her put down .She is a young dog. Give her to a rescue group if you can't keep her .
I am very sorry your going through this. My Suzi is completly oppisite then Jersey.
