You are definitely not a fool - you had sense enough to come to YT for answers so it proves you are SMART
I would suspect other things causing the big nipples but i don't think its any thing to worry with unless as the other poster said -it gets hot or hard around the nipple. I have had girls that are coming in heat even do this.
Take care and next time don't rely on panties - if you don't intend to put your self through the rigors of breeding then you need to take the risk out and get your baby spayed.
