I have 2 front carriers. One is kind of like the first one on your thread. Murfee does ok in it but really doesn't like it very well. The other one I have is like the second (the child's carrier). I think I got it at Petland, but for an adult not a child. Murfee has riden in that one since he was about 4 months old so he is quite used to it. That one is my favorite of the two. Good luck.
