Some dogs food come in better containers than others, in fact some come with a self-sealing top, and it's important to always remove air before sealing. Rubbermaid containers are good for keeping the air out, but don't use one that is too big or the air that's in the container will make food taste stale. Those zip lock plastic bag work well too, just squeeze the excess air out before zipping for best results.
