You say "next" do you have a dam and sire now? Perhaps that breeder could get you started in the right direction, you should definately go to some shows and speak to breeders and ask about pedigrees and such. The complete yorkie book is a very good one. The ytca.org site has a book called the Heritage, there is a lot of info in there as well.
