Any chance he can be an outside cat if he does continue to spray after he's neutered? Just a thought.

Oh never mind, I just reread your original post and it says you live in an apartment. Darn it! Hope your vet has some good advice for you. I would be devastated if I had to rehome my kitty, I just love him so much.
