When they stop growing can vary widely depending on the bloodline and the individual dog. My experience (with my dogs) is that the males mature faster than the females. Seems like by 8 months my boys are pretty much grown. My girls don't grow much either after this but do continue to fill out some until they're over a year old. My guess is that you boys will be in the 4 to 5 pound range as adults.

How long does it take for them to completely change their color? There heads r already changing to a beautiful brown. When does the silver on their backs start? These r the first puppies I have owned. I rescued a 1yr old male and had him 8 yrs. I lost him in April of this year and got my boys on May 1st. They're great! Thanks, Angie07
