I am gonna have to look into Cosequin as Tatum unfortunately
already has stage 3 LP in both back legs
She is taking Glucosamine, but they are in the (soft) chew form - our vet prescribed these to her. She gets only 1 every other day.
She is on allergy medication (Hydroxyzine) also and I hide 1 half of a pill at every meal time (so twice a day) in her food - that being said, and this is a REALLY dumb question I know, but will sprinkling one of these Cosequin capsules on her food hurt her at all since she is taking the Hydroxyzine also?
I just want to check beforehand....I always worry about everything
Also, one more thing....after the initial 6 week administration period, do all of you continue to give 1/2 - 1 capsule per day? Or did you decrease the dosage to 1 capsule every other day?
