My Mini Schnauzer Phoebe had a tumor on her flank. It was removed at about the same age as Mika. Phoebe did fine. It did turn out to be cancerous. (the kind that returns but doesn't spread to organs).I have the name of the tumor in my records. Some sort of Sarcoma? Here we are over 2 years later and it is not back. Good luck.
