I love mine! The only drawback is that it does leave a lot of solution in the carpet. I think that's why some people get a spot. The trick is to use the manual wand to suck up the remaining solution. It also blends the edges.

I've never had a problem with spots. I love my Spot Bot. I have an upright Bissell, too, which I also love. The problem with using that all the time is that it does wear out the carpet. I prefer to use the Spot Bot for spots and deep clean only every six months or so.

I got the Pet Spot Bot, but I honestly don't know the difference except it is more expensive.
