I had a pet that did that before and the results were almost tragic. He became very, very ill. I ended up taking him to the Vet b/c he was throwing up and having bloody stools. The Vet explained that because of this, they can get a very mean parasite that makes them ill. So what they did was prescribed this powder like med that discourages them from eating their poop. You simply sprinkle it on their food, but it worked. Thank God!!
