I read everything I could find on the Atopica site and didn't see data on stopping and the effectiveness when when re-starting. The only comment on the site I saw was the following:
• Comply with your veterinarian’s prescribed regimen of ATOPICA. Once your dog’s atopy is under control it may be tempting to stop using ATOPICA. This can lead to relapses and unnecessary suffering for your dog.
I'm thinking you will probably have to do the 30 day treatment plan again to get it in their system again.
I know we've had some major throwing up and I've followed all the directions

The website says it may be possible for dosage to decrease to every other day and then twice weekly.
