Ellie had a severe reaction to her vaccines once and the one that most likely caused it (lepto) is now left out. She has only gotten one distemper single since then. If they want to give benadryl before and/or watch her for awhile after, you could stay for that in my opinion.
I agree, my breeder told me no Lepto. and to be careful cause Rambeau's mom had a bad reaction. So they give him Benedryl first every time. Don't go to Banfield. I work with two or three vets that worked there when they were first starting out and they said they would never bring there pets there, they have corporate standards
