DS is going to the 6th grade!!!!

He had to retake the math portion of his CRCT and make at least an 800. He made an 807.

We are sooo relieved. I was prepared to write letters to the school board and raise holy heck if they tried to hold him back because of that test.

He is an honor roll student who only missed the math portion by 3 points. He was NOT repeating the 5th grade because of that.

I'm glad we don't have to worry about it now.

Other good news - I'm getting a lovebird! Her name is Meisa. She belongs to a friends daughter who is going off to college and can't take her. I am really excited because I've wanted a lovebird for a really long time. We are picking her up next Friday.
