Second...yes, he will get better....Lil Bit is now 4 months old and is just beginning to lay off the chomping....but still occ does it.
(she attacked my brothers toes..he was wearing sandals...he said "why does she keep biting my feet?" I replied "that is all she can reach...lol...lol".)
I have occ thumped her nose when she bites down too hard...firmly said "NO BITING"...I know others yelp loudly and turn away...that is what the puppys' littermaters would do. They have to learn 'bite inhibition'....they will continue to 'mouth' on you when playing, but not 'bite' too hard.
But you must be firm and consistent......and try playing in the floor with him. I mean like WEAR HIM OUT!!!!!!! My favorite saying now is "A tired puppy is a good puppy"!!!!! |
