I don't know about the mix. Yorkies don't shed but will sometimes "blow the coat" which means lose part of the coat suddenly, thinning and leaving only shorter hair behind. My sister-in-law has a Pom and it sheds. Yorkies will matt very easily during the transition time from puppy coat to adult, after that time some will be much easier to care for and others will continue to matt easily....just luck of the draw. Brush daily and bathe weekly, dilute shampoo and rinse.......then rinse some more. Best of luck. |
