hi everyone ! i hope this is the right forum to post this in? i know i've read on here that a few of you are groomers? well heres the story..and PLEASE don't assume i'm crazy like everyone else in my family (including hubby)
i really don't know where else to turn for advice and i'd really like HONEST opinions not just being nice.... both of my parents work in the medical field, dad is a nurse, mom inspects hospitals.. so naturally after highschool i decided on nursing school. never thought of any other options either. never sat and thought is THIS what i want to do for the rest of my life? recently i've been thinking more and more that this just isn't what i was put on this earth to do. my PASSION and JOY is my yorkie... not needles and blood pressure and hospitals (ABSOLUTELY NO DISRESPECT TO ANY NURSES I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR YOU) i just want to do something i have PASSION for... i'm SERIOUSLY considering dog grooming. i KNOW i'd make more money by finishing nursing school but is money the most important thing? i guess i'd love to hear some feedback from groomers of how you went about grooming? what is the salary range? i'm going to start researching in depth... i just sort of wanted to vent because my whole family laughs and no one is supporting me on this... but i think its what i really want to do.
