Camden doesn't act like that when we are out, but I know that she's territorial of the house and our yard. She's super sweet to us and the few places she's been, she's never acted out, but we don't have a ton of company that comes to the house. So I'm wondering about that kind of thing. |
right now he is not being exposed to different people.. only myself and my b/f.. If you expose them to too many people at once it can become overwhelming and stressful. I have not personally seen him bite anyone just hear stories and it sounds like it's fear.. My biewer thinks he is Alpha over everyone and got into it with tucker and tucker never bit back.. i just pulled parker off of him. I do think that tucker has thought about biting me but i correct it before it happens.
I have another mill rescue that is my own dog and from experience i would say let her get comfortable with you and your family.. then start to socialize her.. When i got lily i had her for probably a month and took her to a local meet up.. she LOVES other dogs.. she even went up to a few people.. The next meet up she was going up to a lot more people.. it's all about trust.. i think it just depends on how neglected the dog was as to how fast they will turn around.. i know tucker is doing everything MUCH slower than lily.
Lily is still not 100% okay but compared to when i got her she is MUCH better. Loud noises and sudden movements still scare her but i think is getting better
