I've used faux glazes. I did the Ralph Lauren denim blue jean look on my boys bedroom walls and a faux leather in the living room(and a couple accent walls here and there).
It's not so bad but it's a one time thing. You can't really go over it because then it darkens and smudges so have all your equipment, rags, tools,etc. within hands reach.
I've been very happy with how they turned out. A couple of times I did end up repainting and starting from scratch over a section because it dried too fast or didn't turn out how I wanted. If I get ambitious enough I'll post a pic. |
