I agree. When Suki had her first litter I was the one that was a reck not her. I read all the books that I can about her pregnancy. I agree that the milk drops about 10 days before birth. Funny thing about suki's 1st litter I was watching her temperature to see when it dropped, Which means labor, But I took her temp at 12 midnight and it did not drop at all. I went to bed, She was fine (her bed was my walk in closet) I woke up the next day to 4 gorgeous babies, She had the puppies that night and cleaned everything up and was waiting for me to show how proud she was. So nature gives them the ability to have their babies without our help, BUT our love and concern gives us the need to help out. Good luck on your soon to be a new mommy. you'll do fine and so will she.
