Yes, showing is expensive! It usually cost about 2,000 or more to finish a dog. This is not a sure thing, just from my experience. It depends on your dog and how close they are to the standard. Some dogs and never finish. It also depends on where you are at and how far you must drive to show, if handling yourself as well as how many of your family go with you or even if you go with frineds - then you can split the cost of room and gas. It also depends on how much experience you have showing and if you have a handler. Also what dogs are going up against your dog and what judges are judging. There is a lot involved.
