If I found the right web pages (all stores in NY?), I say keep looking. They're pet stores which means they get their puppies from puppy mills (look how many different breeds and puppies they have for sale). If you don't know what a puppy mill is, do an online search. It is heartbreaking. Please, do not support them.
And don't believe what they say about getting the puppies from reputable breeders. They all say that. Reputable breeders do not send their puppies to be sold in stores.
Finding your puppy from a good breeder might take a little more time and effort but it's worth it. |
