Lisa, through all this horror a picture in the Akron Beacon Journal put a
smile on my face yesterday and hope it will yours. The picture was of
a mother, father, tennage girl and younger girl about six. The back-
ground was their home that was completely demolished and they had
come back to see if they could salvage anything. The father had a
wheel barrow with some things and he led the way with such a determined
look on his face, the older daughter followed looking pretty much the
same. Directly behind them was the mother holding the little girl's hand.
I looked down and the little girl was holding a leash with a little yorkie
at the end. It's face was full of mud and it's little legs were mud all the
way up and the little guy was soaking wet BUT it was pulling on that
lead ans just as determined as the rest of them. They may be small but
I'll tell you they are tough little rascals. The picture was taken in Biloxi
by Patrick Schineider/Knight Ridder/Tribune. So precious, I could do
nothing but smile at the spirit the five of them were showing. So happy
you are safe and hope the electric is on soon.
