Wow, When I read this post I thought it was a joke , but then I read further down. Are you sure your vet was not being sarcastic, joking.
If this is his/her real statments I would find a new vet quick and fast.
I don't mean to be harsh, but your vet is scaring me... I hope he /she was joking
