I want to get Sophie spayed before her first heat. If I wait until she's 6 and a half months old, do I take a chance of her going in heat? And would it be better if I had it done on Friday so I could stay the weekend with her 24/7 for the first few days? Or during the week when she's crated for 8 hours (left out at noon for a bit). Any and all opinions wanted!
