Hi, Welcome to YorkieTalk. Have you tried the YTCA referral list? The YTCA is the parent club of the AKC and sets the standard. YTCA members are usually involved in showing, and are dedicated to improving the breed. Because it's more important that they place their puppies in good homes than making money, you will find many of dogs very affordable. Usually it's a process as they like to get to know you, and you do have to meet their standards as well, but you will learn a wealth of information from them.
