Oh no! I feed mine Canidae...well I just sent them a nasty gram...well in a nice way.
I am a regulatory affairs supervisor and I know that the term gluten free has not yet been defined by the FDA therefore it is pretty much still illegal for them to claim this on the label. Alot of vendors are getting away with adding this to their label now but eventually will need to change the way they label things when we receive final regulations.
The FDA should have final regulations on the term "gluten free" by the end of this year. |
