This happened with my 18 mo old granddaughter a couple of weeks ago. She ran that unexplained fever for 2 days and never acted sick in any other way. My daughter called the doc too and they said just to watch her and if nothing else occurred except the fever, to give motrin and monitor. No other symptoms ever occurred - so we have no clue what it was - just a virus, I guess.
