Aimee you are completely right. Had it been a pit, it probably would have been all over the news. And you're right, even our little Yorkies can be aggressive! They are dogs. Just like every human can lunge out and "bite". We can all be fine one minute then snap the hell at someone for just one word they muttered. Dogs are the same way. Bouncer was fine the other day at the vets office and out of the middle of nowhere he lunged to bite their groomer who was petting him. He's NEVER done that, but he did for some reason this time. Now, b/c he's a Yorkie, no one says anything. Had Bouncer been a pit or a rottie or a dobe, everyone would have noticed. Oi vey....I could go on forever and I've been watching this thread like a hawk tonight (obvious haha). I best go to bed. We've got a lot of dogs in the morning and I'm getting too worked up over this! haha
I just can't help it. I have the biggest soft spot for pits since my yorkie's best friend is one and two of his other friends are pit mixes. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I think it's great you can still have the heart to realize that it's not just the breed. That any dog can do anything.
