Tried to add to this, but ran out of time....

If someone showed a sincere interest in little Jethro and perhaps had some trouble with the cost - but could provide him the type of home and family we are looking for..... terms are always negotiable.... but to simply inquire about what you consider an "inappropriate cost", with no interest in our guy at all - is really not necessary...
