i think a back yard breeder is someone who keeps all the dogs outside in the back yard in a kennel.. hobby breeders keep the dogs inside their home..
and includes them in their lives as members of the family.. anyone who keeps dogs in cages for breeding only is a bad back yard breeder . akc doesnt mean much when the dogs are just breeding slaves.
do you keep your dogs in cages or are they also beloved pets?
if you love your dogs then you are not a back yard breeder.

byb are the same as puppy mills only smaller and the owners are greeders
