know--I love the pads. You should see my reply on another thread in the training section. I don't know how to put it here on this reply. For Gabby- I have a large cage that I put a small pad in on one side and a towel on the other side. She could stay "clean" and had a space to potty. This was also her pen durring the day when I wasn't watching her. As she got older and better at going on the pad in the cage- I attached a short leash to a smaller cage in our family room. I put the pad on the outside of the cage-a blanket inside the cage with her food and the cage door open.. Now her potty area was outside her cage and she was still limited on how far away from it she got. I would reward her every time I saw that she had peed or pooped on it.
It has taken months, but now Gabby is doing everything but pooping on the pads all of the time.
