I am a lab tech in the medical field and I thought the diarrhea had some tissue but the vet said not to worry
the male has been tested I have seen all of his work up

also has anyone heard not to use heartguard on a yorkie
i had a fellow yorkie mom tell me she could not use it on her yorkie
but her yorkie also only had 30 percent of her liver functioning |
We use Heartgard plus on all of ours and have for 4 1/2 years, even through pregnancies.....However with a 30% functioning liver, in any species and being most drugs are absorbed through the liver, one would assume that this is the reason her yorkie should not tolerate Heartgard. There is no indication through the FDA or Merial that "Yorkies" shouldn't use it....
