Losing a pet is truly one of the hardest things... I remember when I had to put my sheltie down about 4 years ago. My mom came with me and we both held him as they gave him the shot... The girl working was surprised that I wanted to be in there with him since I was balling ans sobbing so much - but he was my baby and I wasn't about to let him go through that alone! I still cry about it to this day, and have tears streaming down my face as I type this... Maybe it's because I've lost both my best friend of 14 years and my mom last year... Life can be great sometimes, but it can also be so hard.
