I sincerely hope so, I think the involvment of Admin and the moderators in an official capacity would greatly benefit the MeetUp.

I am already thinking about the 2010 meetup that will be held on the west coast. I have never been farther west than the rockies so it will be quite an experience for me. Chances are good that if I have to fly I will not bring my furbutts, but at least I will have an opportunity to meet, greet, and hug many of my YT family members.

I know admin didn't want to be involved and I completely understand but it would be nice if one or more of the mods had the time to take some part on the committee. They are alway so fair and impartial it would probably make everyone feel a little better about decisions. It sounds like the committee did a fantastic job this year but I think it would put a lot of minds at ease to have an impartial party. There has obviously been some concern about this re-vote and to be honest, I was a little surprised that FL wasn't even on the list for the first one. I know that not everyone thinks FL is great but tourism is our industry so obviously it is a place people like to visit and it was suggested quite a bit. It's a moot point now but still... I know the mods have their real life to deal with and might not have the time to invest in this so I do understand if they aren't willing but I think it would be great to extend the invitation.
