I am sorry this happened.
A water baby is a puppy with excess fluid in the organs and tissue of the puppy. It is not hereditary. Only in very mild cases can the puppy be saved, Most of the time they are gone fairly quickly.
There are many thoughts on why this happens I do not think any have been proven.. some of those are trauma causing the placenta to partially separate, problems with the lymphatic, and lots more.. None proven. Water babies often have other things wrong with them as well. I know there are articles out there, I will see if I can find some of them for you. |
