I'd call the vet and ask them if you should wait or how they do it. Roxie had hers out when she was fixed at 6 months. It didn't bother her at all. She still ate like it never happened. It probably feels better when they eat since nothing is getting caught anymore. They just took the baby teeth out. She only had to have 4 out, top and bottom canines.
