OH MY.....Lots of changes since I have checked in. I see that the poll has been closed. I guess it is just sit and wait.

My enthusiasm has been dampered...... which is really sad, because I too, was planning on going either place. Hopefully it will still happen.

I do question if there really would have been a "vote off" if the results would have been different. I know that at least 4 of the 5 committee members -I don't know who the 5th member is-voted for San Diego by looking at the poll results. (no offense....everyone had their favorite place to go....but it does seem a bit strange). Those that are asking about this DO have a legit reason to question this.

San Diego is a beautiful town....I have family very near there.. and I think it would have been fun as well as Alexandria... which would have been close enough to do my "lighthouse tour" (but as everyone knows, I voted for poor little ole' Charleston!!.. ).

I am not going to make any more "votes" until I see where this is going....... but I do hope that it continues. IN THE MEAN TIME, I think that I will try to get something going with a few of the "local Yorkie Dorkies" ..... hopefully this fall.
