Agility is great exercise for a dog but just like human althetics, a canine althete is more prone to injuries if she is overweight. Just like human althetes, my dogs WORK OUT twice a week (I have a treadmill for them. During the summer, they also swim). Be careful not to make your dog a weekend warrior. You will need to continue your efforts in cutting her weight and keep her exercise regime up.
