The whole idea of doing it all at once is so these small dogs don't have to run the risk of going under anesethia more times than necessary. It can be very dangerous... And I had Roxi fixed at 6months, her mouth was fine the next day, the mouth heals very quickly (with humans too!) Then she just healed from the spay for a couple days after that, but she was fine... You will probably find when you ask your vet about it that he/she will say the exact same thing, if they have experience with yorkies....
