There are lots of us who did not know about puppy stores and the connection to puppy mills. You tend to take people at face value and believe what they tell you about how they come from local breeders.
Its always a tough call and while I don't fault people for giving in and buying from the puppy store, it does perpetuate the process and condemn the parents to a miserable life. Its all about educating people to how they really function. I have had people I know well all of a sudden appear with a dog they got from the puppy store and I think have you not been listening? But I can understand how they fell for the dog in the first place and we all rationalize that we are saving that one puppy, which in the scheme of thing, is not a bad thing.
View it as a learning experience and move on. Sunny has a good home! YEA!!!! |
