Some females carry the puppies up high in the rib cage and some carry them lower in the belly. My female is carrying her puppy/puppies low in her belly right above her hip I can feel a puppy. When is your female due? You could have an x-ray done on day 51-55, and they can give you a good idea of the # of puppies she is expecting. lucy lou is due july 14th... do the puppies move around.. esp if there is only one or two?
like from the ribs down to the belly then back up ? her tummy is moving
all over
but this is her 3rd time so she has extra skin...

i think the placenta is connected to the wall of the uterus, but the cord is long enough for movement.. i think the puppy could move? i think the cord and placenta are stretchy also. lucys puppy is trying somersaults
