When I first heard there would be a $20 charge to REpoll, I was just flabbergasted. Reading your explanation, however, I can see how that last-minute, low (or 0) post count votes put a suspicious light on things.
However, there must be, as Suzy suggested, a more equitable, reasonable way to ensure fairness. $20 per vote IS going to be a hardship on many, and deter some who would have voted in the second poll. |
