in the meantime, checkout meetup.com and see if there are any small dog meetups you can attend to socialize your little one and get a better idea of personalities she DOES do well with. Or if you have friends or local YT people, set up regular playdates.
If you get her used to other dogs, she probably will hold her own and find a new friend enjoyable, rather then terrifying!!
poor shelter dog probably was so scared and anxious having been cooped up in a cage with no love!!
You should post her info and the shelter name on the YT rescue/for sale section! I bet someone on here is the right fit!!
